Be Kind and Respectful

Treat other members with kindness and respect. Everyone has different experiences, backgrounds, opinions, and ways of caring for their pets.

Healthy discussion is welcome, but personal attacks are not.

Please do not post content that includes:

• Threats
• Hate speech
• Insults or personal attacks
• Discrimination
• Intimidation
• Offensive or abusive language

If you disagree with someone, do so respectfully.

Keep It Pet-Friendly

Critter Cupid is a community for pet owners and pet lovers. Please keep posts, photos, comments, and forum discussions related to pets, pet ownership, pet care, pet experiences, and community connection.

Examples of welcome content include:

• Questions about pet care

• Helpful tips
• Funny pet moments
• Community discussions

No Animal Cruelty or Harmful Content

We do not allow content that promotes, encourages, celebrates, or shows animal cruelty, neglect, abuse, illegal animal activity, unsafe pet handling, or harm toward animals.

This includes:

• Animal abuse or neglect
• Animal fighting
• Unsafe breeding practices
• Encouraging harm to animals
• Graphic or disturbing animal injury content
• Illegal animal sales or activity
• Content that puts pets or people at risk

If you believe an animal is in immediate danger, please contact local authorities or animal welfare services.

Be Honest in Your Profile

Please use truthful and accurate information when creating your profile or pet profile.

Do not pretend to be someone else, create fake accounts, misrepresent your identity, or post misleading information about yourself, your pet, or your intentions.

Critter Cupid does not verify every user, profile, pet, or post, so honesty from members is important to building trust in the community.

Protect Your Privacy

Be careful about the personal information you share.

Avoid posting:

• Home address
• Phone number
• Financial information
• Government ID numbers
• Private passwords
• Personal information about someone else
• Anything you do not want other users or the public to see

Remember that content shared online may be copied, saved, or shared by others.

Use Good Judgment When Meeting Others

Critter Cupid may help pet owners connect, but any decision to meet another member in person is completely your choice and your responsibility.

If you choose to meet another user, we encourage you to:

• Meet in a public place
• Tell someone you trust where you are going
• Bring another person when possible
• Keep pets safely leashed or contained
• Watch for signs of stress in pets
• Follow local pet rules and laws
• Trust your instincts

Critter Cupid does not conduct background checks, verify identities, inspect pets, or supervise meetings.

Keep Forums Helpful and Respectful

Forums are a place to share, learn, and connect. Please keep conversations helpful and respectful.

Do not spam forums with repeated posts, unrelated promotions, arguments, or offensive content.

Before posting, ask yourself:

• Is this respectful?
• Is this related to pets or the community?
• Would I say this to someone in person?

No Spam or Scams

Do not use Critter Cupid to spam, scam, mislead, or take advantage of other members.

Not allowed:

• Fake giveaways
• Suspicious links
• Phishing attempts
• Repeated promotional posts
• Unapproved advertising
• Fraudulent pet listings
• Requests for money that appear suspicious
• Attempts to collect member information without permission

We may remove this type of content and suspend or delete accounts involved in spam or scams.

Advertising and Promotions

Critter Cupid may work with pet-related advertisers, sponsors, or partners in the future.

Members should not post business promotions, advertisements, affiliate links, or sales content without permission from Critter Cupid.

If you are a pet-related business interested in advertising or partnering with Critter Cupid, please contact us directly.

Respect Copyright and Ownership

Only upload photos, images, videos, text, or other content that you own or have permission to share.

Do not post someone else’s photos, articles, logos, artwork, or content without permission.

If you share information from another source, give credit when appropriate.

No Medical, Veterinary, or Professional Claims

Members may share personal experiences, but Critter Cupid is not a substitute for professional advice.

Please do not present yourself as a veterinarian, trainer, lawyer, breeder, or other professional unless you are qualified to do so.

For medical concerns, injuries, illness, behavior issues, breeding questions, or emergencies, contact a licensed veterinarian or qualified professional.

Keep Content Appropriate

Please keep the community safe and appropriate for a wide audience.

Do not post:

• Graphic violence
• Threatening content

Critter Cupid may remove content or take action against accounts that violate these Community Guidelines, our Terms and Conditions, or our Privacy Policy.

Depending on the situation, we may:

• Remove a post, photo, comment, or forum topic
• Issue a warning
• Limit account access
• Suspend an account
• Permanently delete an account
• Block access to the website

We may take action at our discretion to protect the community.
